This Privacy Policy explains how Composition Matters LLC, doing business through Musician Love and Musician Love Custom Songs (“Musician Love,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information. It applies to our websites and subdomains, forms, creator roster, custom-song requests, courses, communities, emails, messages, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).
By using the Services or submitting information, you acknowledge this Privacy Policy. A separate project agreement may provide additional terms for a specific custom-song or creator project.
Contact information, such as your name, email address, telephone number, location, and communication preferences.
Custom-song information, such as lyrics, stories, names or details about intended recipients, occasions, deadlines, musical preferences, selected packages or add-ons, uploaded files, portfolio links, and messages.
Creator-roster information, such as creative role, instrument or vocal specialty, genres, style, experience, availability, biography, portfolio or music samples, proposed credits, compensation, or royalty-split information.
Transaction and project information, such as quotes, invoices, deposits, agreement status, deliverables, revisions, licensing selections, and communications. Payment providers process card or bank information; we generally do not receive complete payment credentials.
Information you voluntarily provide through forms, surveys, courses, community spaces, support requests, testimonials, or other communications.
When you use our websites, our hosting, analytics, and communications providers may collect IP address, browser and device information, approximate location, pages viewed, referring links, dates and times, form activity, cookie identifiers, and similar usage data.
We may use information to:
Respond to inquiries, prepare quotes, evaluate project requests, and provide the Services.
Match appropriate creators with potential projects and communicate a project brief, schedule, proposed compensation or royalty split, credits, and agreement terms.
Create private creator records and, only after creator review and approval, publish approved profile details and sample links.
Process payments, administer agreements, document permissions, manage licensing and ownership records, deliver files, and provide support.
Send transactional email or text messages about registrations, requests, projects, payments, agreements, and service access.
Send marketing communications where permitted and honor unsubscribe or opt-out requests.
Operate, secure, troubleshoot, analyze, and improve our Services; prevent misuse or fraud; and comply with law.
We do not sell personal information for money. We do not currently share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Transactional messages may be sent when necessary to respond to a request, confirm a registration, administer a project, or provide purchased or requested Services. If you separately receive promotional email, you may unsubscribe through the link in the message or contact us. If promotional text messaging is offered, the applicable consent language and opt-out instructions will be provided at sign-up; message and data rates may apply. We will honor applicable opt-out requests.

To service providers that support website hosting, forms, customer relationship management, email, text messaging, analytics, file delivery, electronic signatures, invoicing, and payment processing, including GoPlus and related providers.
To clients, creators, musicians, producers, engineers, or other project participants when reasonably necessary to evaluate, plan, contract for, or complete a project. We limit project information to what is reasonably needed.
To professional advisers, insurers, accountants, or legal representatives when reasonably necessary.
When required by law, legal process, or a valid governmental request; to protect rights, safety, and property; or in connection with a business transfer.
Service providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices. We encourage you to review the policies of payment, hosting, and other third-party services you use.
Creator registrations are private while under review. A public creator profile may include only the display name, category, specialty, genres, style or biography, image, credits, and sample links the creator has reviewed and approved. A creator may ask us to correct or remove a profile from future public display. Removal does not require deletion of records we reasonably retain for agreements, accounting, dispute prevention, or legal compliance.
Lyrics, recordings, demos, drafts, project briefs, and other creative materials may contain personal information. We use and disclose them only as reasonably necessary to evaluate or complete the requested project, administer rights and agreements, or comply with law. Ownership and permitted uses of creative work are governed by the applicable written agreement, not this Privacy Policy.
We and our providers may use cookies and similar technologies to remember preferences, enable forms and site functions, understand traffic, measure campaigns, and improve performance. You may adjust browser settings to limit cookies, although some functions may not work correctly.
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described here, including providing Services, maintaining project and licensing records, meeting tax or accounting obligations, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and protecting our legal rights. Retention periods vary according to the information and purpose.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send Social Security numbers, passwords, full payment-card details, or other highly sensitive information through ordinary forms or email unless specifically requested through a secure method.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information; to withdraw consent; or to object to or restrict certain processing. Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Custom-song purchases, creator registrations, and project agreements are intended for adults age 18 or older. A minor may participate only with authorization and involvement of a parent or legal guardian and any additional agreement we require.
If you use the Services outside the United States, your information may be processed and stored in the United States or other locations where our providers operate. Privacy laws may differ from those in your country.
We may update this Privacy Policy as our Services or legal obligations change. The effective date above shows when the current version applies. Material changes will be posted on this page and, when appropriate, communicated by another reasonable method.
